Millhill Child & Family Development Receives Greater Mercer Grant from the Princeton Area Community Foundation
TRENTON, NJ (August 9, 2016) – The Princeton Area Community Foundation recently awarded Millhill Child & Family Development a 2016 Spring Greater Mercer grant to help build capacity and support the strategic goals identified in its three-year strategic plan.
“The generous support and endorsement of the Princeton Area Community Foundation over the years is invaluable to our ability to provide high quality programs to an increasing number of families,” explains Cynthia Oberkofler, Executive Director. “Our board and staff are committed to improving the lives of children and families in Trenton and the surrounding area,” she continued.
Millhill’s most significant growth over the past few years has been the increase in the numbers of children receiving services from the behavioral health program. A new counseling center at 802 Prospect Street was opened by Millhill last summer and serves 200 more children and their families each week.
The Spring 2016 Greater Mercer Grants are made possible by the collective generosity of several of the Community Foundation donor funds given by people who care about the region, its long-term well-being, and the nonprofits who work hard on behalf of its residents.
