Throughout the program, participants will have the chance to participate in a variety of STEM-focused activities, including experiments, projects, and challenges. In addition to the STEM activities, the program includes social emotional learning, which helps students develop important skills such as self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.
The Millhill STEM Explorers Program also provides opportunities for career exploration, with guest speakers and visits to local businesses to give students a glimpse into the many different STEM-related careers available to them.
Finally, the program includes field trips to college campuses, museums, and labs, giving participants the chance to experience the world of STEM in a real-world setting and inspiring them to pursue further studies and careers in these fields.
