Your Role: Therapeutic Support Manager
We’re seeking a dynamic and compassionate Therapeutic Support Manager to oversee our Out of Home Placement Support (OHPS) Program and provide targeted Therapeutic Intervention Services. This leadership position combines program oversight, direct client work, collaboration with community partners, and trauma-informed guidance to support some of our most vulnerable youth.
What You’ll Do
Manage and coordinate the OHPS program including Saturday Respite (2x/month)
Supervise staff and activities, ensuring a trauma-informed environment
Conduct therapeutic group chats and manage the respite activity budget
Therapeutic Intervention & Intake
Lead intake process for all OHPS and internal referrals
Provide individualized and group Therapeutic Intervention (T.I.) sessions for early education students
Deliver 30-minute weekly Social Emotional Learning (SEL) lessons across seven classrooms
Address behavior challenges such as impulsivity, aggression, boundary-setting, etc, as they relate to underlying issues of depression, withdrawal, and/or anxiety.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain timely and accurate documentation for all client interactions
Complete treatment plans, behavioral checklists, monthly/quarterly reports, and discharge summaries
Ensure compliance with DCP&P and internal documentation protocols
Collaboration & Advocacy
Serve as liaison with DCP&P, attend bi-monthly case conferences and Family Team Meetings
Build trust and provide supportive connections to families and guardians
Actively promote OHPS and build referral networks
Additional Responsibilities
Participate in NJ Abuse Hotline reporting when necessary
Attend relevant meetings and professional development opportunities
Maintain professional relationships with colleagues and external partners
Promote a workplace culture of dignity, respect, and equity
What We’re Looking For
Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling preferred; Bachelor’s required
Experience in therapeutic service delivery, case management, or family support programs

Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Flexibility to work Wednesday evenings and two Saturdays per month
