Director of Youth Engagement
Michelle Thompkins joined Millhill in 2017as Director, Youth Engagement Programs. Previously, Michelle worked with Global and National Leadership Teams in Sales, Marketing, R&D and Operations at GlaxoSmithKline, Aventis, Merck and Johnson & Johnson. Michelle earned her BA from Howard University and Master’s in HR from Rutgers. As part of her role at Millhill, Michelle also co-leads the Greater Trenton College Access Network of organizations dedicated to strengthening college-access and workforce development programming to help students from underserved communities navigate the path to and through higher education. Michelle values the teamwork, creativity, respect, and excellence she sees in action every day at Millhill to support the Trenton community. She loves traveling to new places, learning about the history, and sampling the food. Michelle grew up in a family of competitive swimmers, who have all passed on their love of the sport to their children.
