Over 45 Years of Serving Trenton!

Dear Friend,

While we are all living in very stressful times and the number of causes and concerns seem overwhelming, we are asking that when you consider supporting an organization that you think about the challenges presented to the children and families that Millhill serves here in Trenton.  Our children and families struggle daily with the effects of living in poverty and our programs address those effects in the short term through our therapeutic services and for the long term through education.

Education is a core component of what we do, because we know that the surest way out of poverty is through education. It’s why our K to 4th grade summer camp is focused on literacy.  It is also why we support our teenagers in our Trenton PEERS program through the college application process so that they will become the first generation in their family to attend college.  And it’s why we provide therapy to middle schoolers and high schoolers who are struggling with behavioral issues in school. We teach them healthy coping skills so that they are able to stay in school, achieve their goals and realize their dreams.

And for those children who grew up without the benefit of  Millhill, we provide the support and counseling they need as adults to become better parents and more successful individuals, celebrating their strengths and addressing their challenges together.

Please consider making a gift today to help some of the most disadvantaged families in Trenton and help Millhill guide them on a path to a bright, self-directed future.

In gratitude,

Cynthia H. Oberkofler
Executive Director
