During the preschool years, children ages 3-6 build upon what they have learned in their early explorations. As their horizons expand, their learning environment plays an even more critical role in their development.
Children who are good problem solvers are better prepared for our increasingly complex world. At Millhill, children are encouraged to share their experiences and develop critical communication and problem solving skills.
Millhill also integrates music and movement into the curriculum so that children develop appreciation of the beauty of music and the performing arts. They learn group participation, social skills, and emotional expression. They develop small and large motor skills. And all of it is fun!
Children who eat well learn better. As with our infant and toddler program, we provide two nutritious meals and a snack each day. Whether on the playground or in the classroom, Millhill children are nourished and encouraged as they develop and practice school readiness skills. They are well prepared for kindergarten!
