Early Care and Education - Infants and Toddlers

Research has long confirmed that age 0-3 years old is a critical time in a child’s development as the baby’s brain develops patterns for emotional, social, physical, and cognitive growth. Caring for infants and toddlers is all about building trust-based relationships and making the most of everyday experiences and routines.

Our Infant and Toddler program is based on developmentally appropriate practices. We encourage infants to learn by grasping, rolling, pounding, smelling, sucking, and crawling around and over everything. We feed them two nutritious meals and a snack each day.

The program is individualized to meet the needs of every child. Each family’s culture is respected, and family members are encouraged to participate in the program.
